Veli Porat bay

Veli Porat is a massive, multi-fingered bay on Šćedro island. It's the safest place to spend a night on a buoy in the entire region.

There are a few good restaurants here, so you can enjoy a proper meal after a day on the water. Šćedro is a protected nature park where you go to disappear — a very different vibe than Hvar. Veli Porat's sheltered waters make it the perfect overnight anchorage for sailors exploring the south coast.
