Jeanneau Cap Camarat 555

The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 555 is a French-designed 5.55-metre speedboat that punches above her size. With a 100 HP outboard she cruises comfortably at 18 knots, fast enough to turn the whole of Hvar's south coast and the Pakleni Islands into an easy day, while her light hull keeps the fuel bill sensible.

Eighteen knots changes what a day looks like. Palmižana is about ten minutes from the dock, Dubovica a quarter of an hour, the Red Rocks under twenty minutes, and the wine village of Sveta Nedjelja about twenty-five. You can swim at the Red Rocks in the morning, have lunch at Mala Milna or Palmižana, and still fit two more bays in before the evening.

On board there is a generous front sunbed, a T-top over the helm for shade, a marine compass and VHF radio for safe coastal hopping, a bathing ladder and Bluetooth music. The Jeanneau build shows in the details: clean lines, dry storage where you need it, and a deck that is easy to live with for a full day. She takes up to five people. Fuel is full to full: you leave with a full tank and pay for what you used.

Hire her bareboat if someone in your group holds a valid boat licence, and we will brief you on the controls and mark the best bays for the day's wind. Or add one of our local skippers and let us take you to the swimming spots we would choose ourselves. She is also one of the boats we use for our own private tours: the South Coast & Hidden Beaches half-day, the Pakleni Islands half-day and the full-day Red Rocks & Pakleni Islands tour all run on the 555, which is a fair sign of how well she suits these waters.
