Vis Island
A tiny uninhabited islet near Vis with a famous turquoise lagoon — one of Croatia's most Instagrammed swimming spots.

Budikovac is a small uninhabited island just south of Vis, famous for its stunning Blue Lagoon — a shallow, sandy-bottomed channel between Budikovac and the tiny island of Ravnik where the water glows an unreal shade of turquoise.
The lagoon is shallow enough to stand in places, with soft sand underfoot and water so clear you can see every detail of the bottom. It's one of Croatia's most photographed natural spots and a highlight of any Blue Cave day trip. The island itself has a small, beautiful pebble beach.
We often include Budikovac as a swimming stop on our Blue Cave tour — after the caves, the lagoon's warm, calm water is the perfect place to relax and cool off. A Robinson-style bar on the island serves drinks during peak season.
