Vis Island
Stiniva è una spettacolare baia formatasi dal crollo di una grotta sull'isola di Vis — larga solo 4–5 metri all'ingresso, raggiungibile in barca e con una breve nuotata.
A metà strada tra la Grotta Verde e la Grotta Azzurra sull'isola di Vis si trova la baia di Stiniva. Un tempo era una grotta il cui soffitto è crollato, lasciando un ingresso largo solo 4–5 metri. Non è raggiungibile in auto, quindi potete arrivare al suo ingresso solo in barca e poi nuotare attraverso l'ingresso fino alla bellissima spiaggia naturale.
Towering cliffs almost meet overhead, leaving just a 4–5 m gap between the bay and the open sea.
Boats anchor outside the narrow entrance; you swim or tender the last short stretch ashore.
The calm, turquoise water inside the near-enclosed cove is ideal for swimming.
