Ryck 280

The Ryck 280 is the newest boat in our premium fleet: a German-engineered 9.5-metre walkaround day boat that combines clean Hanseatic design with serious performance. A 300 HP Mercury outboard gives her a cruising speed of 28 knots, which puts Vis under half an hour from Hvar, Bol thirty-five minutes and the Blue Cave about fifty. She is chartered with a professional skipper.

The walkaround layout is what sets her apart. A wide, level deck runs right round the centre console, so guests move freely from the convertible sunpad in the bow to the lounge in the stern without climbing over seats, which matters more than you would think by the third swim stop. A T-top with bimini shades the helm and cockpit, the aft lounge converts into a dining area for lunch at anchor, and there is a Bluetooth sound system and a cooler with drinks on board.

Below, the Ryck has something none of our RIBs can offer: a V-berth cabin and a private head. On a full day to Vis with children, a place to change, nap out of the sun or simply use a proper toilet turns a good day into an easy one. She takes up to nine guests.

She runs all six of our tours, from the Pakleni Islands half-day and the Romantic Sunset Cruise to the full-day Blue Cave & Island Vis and Golden Horn & North Coast Tunnels, and she is a favourite for bespoke day charters: families, couples celebrating an occasion, and small groups who want a refined, quiet boat rather than a fast open one. Your skipper plans the route around the day's wind and your wishes, and no one on board needs a licence.
