A full-day boat trip from Hvar to Bol and Zlatni Rat, the Golden Horn, Croatia's most photographed beach, by a route most visitors never see. Eight hours, always moving forward and never backtracking, with four to five of them on the beach.
You begin by rounding the wild Cape Pelegrin and entering the Bruške Vale, a string of turquoise bays on Hvar's north coast below the village of Brusje. Jagodna and its neighbours are the hidden versions of more famous coves: bright water, pebble beaches and almost nobody there. After a morning swim your skipper makes a straight twenty-minute dash across the Hvar Channel to the south coast of Brač.
The first Brač stop is Smrka Bay, a quiet cove with massive Cold War naval tunnels cut into the cliffs. You nose the boat right into the tunnel, photograph the eerie interior, then jump into the deep, clear water at its mouth. From Smrka it is a fast fifteen-minute cruise past the vineyards of Murvica to Zlatni Rat, where you have the heart of the day to swim on either side of the Horn, lie in the pine shade, walk the promenade into Bol and sit down to a long lunch.
The return leg runs through the Pakleni Islands for a late swim at Palmižana in the evening light, and you are back on the Hvar waterfront in time for a sunset drink.
The route is planned around the wind. Hvar's north side and Brač's south side stay smooth when the afternoon Maestral picks up, so the crossing is comfortable in both directions, and the tour runs on our larger, faster boats to keep the travelling short. It is a private boat for up to ten, and a good choice for groups who want one big beach day rather than many short stops.

Your first swim of the day in a hidden turquoise bay on Hvar's north coast. These secret coves below Brusje village are the "hidden" versions of more famous namesakes — bright turquoise water, pebble beaches, and almost no one around.

A straight 20-minute dash across the Hvar Channel brings you to Brač's most unique stop. Nose the RIB right into the massive Cold War-era naval tunnel, take photos of the eerie interior, then jump into the deep crystal-clear water at the tunnel mouth.

Arrival at Croatia's most iconic beach. A fast 15-minute cruise from Smrka along the Brač coast past the vineyards of Murvica. Drop-off at the beach or Bol harbour.

4–5 hours to enjoy the beach, swim in the crystal-clear shallows, sunbathe in the pine shade, explore Bol town, or enjoy a long lunch. Try Auro Beach Bar for cocktails on the sand, or Konoba Dalmatino in town for a proper Dalmatian meal.

Start the return journey back towards Hvar, cruising through the channel with the afternoon light.

Cruise through the Pakleni archipelago to Palmižana — the most beautiful bay in the islands. Swim, grab a cocktail, or simply enjoy the sunset light over the pines before the final stretch home.

A stunning deep bay with a pebble beach and very few people, just 15 minutes from Hvar Town on the wild north side. Perfect for the first swim of the day in bright, clear turquoise water.
Smrka Bay
A hidden bay with a military past — explore Cold War-era warship tunnels, swim in crystal-clear water, and discover Roman villa ruins in this off-the-beaten-path gem.
Golden Horn beach
Golden Horn is the most famous beach in Croatia — a 500m fine gravel spit on Brač whose shape shifts with the weather.
Palmižana – Vinogradišće beach
Palmižana is probably the most known and popular place on the Pakleni islands, located on the largest island Sveti Klement.

A narrow, intimate inlet right next to Jagodna — well-protected and peaceful, with a handful of local boats at anchor and water that shifts between emerald and turquoise.
Stiniva Bay (Brusje)
A peaceful emerald-green cove on Hvar's north coast — easily accessible by boat and offering total tranquillity for a quick swim, without the crowds of its famous Vis namesake.
Murvica Bay
A dramatic rocky bay beneath Vidova Gora with clear Adriatic waters and the legendary Dragon's Cave above — where a 15th-century monk carved mysterious reliefs into stone.
Perna beach
A dream for those who want that "Caribbean" water color — fine sandy bottom creates a bright, milky turquoise. Much quieter than nearby Palmižana.
