About Jagodna Bay (Brusje)

Just 15 minutes from Hvar Town, after rounding the wild Cape Pelegrin, you enter a string of turquoise bays known as the Bruške Vale — the hidden versions of more famous namesakes. Jagodna is the first and most striking of the three.

This deep, sheltered bay cuts into Hvar's rugged north coast below the village of Brusje, about 6 km from town. The pebble beach is framed by pine-covered slopes and wild Mediterranean scrub, with water that glows a bright, clear turquoise — especially impressive from the deck of a RIB.

Jagodna sees very few visitors even in peak season, making it perfect for the first swim of the day. The bay is calm and well-protected, with a gentle entry that suits all swimmers. The surrounding hills shelter it from the open sea while summer breezes keep the temperature comfortable.

There are no facilities here — just pristine nature, crystal water, and the quiet sound of waves on pebbles. It's the kind of bay that makes guests say 'this is why we came to Croatia.'
