Hvar Island
A sheltered bay on the southwest side of Hvar island, beloved by sailors and known for serving up some of the most spectacular sunsets in the area.

Vela Garška is a well-protected bay on the Pelegrin peninsula, the southwest tip of Hvar island. Popular among boaters and kayakers alike, it offers calm waters and a laid-back atmosphere that makes it ideal for a relaxed afternoon on the water.
On the east side of the bay you'll find a wooden beach bar, while a small restaurant sits on the western shore. Both are perfect spots to settle in and watch the sun dip below the horizon — Vela Garška is widely regarded as one of the best sunset viewpoints on the entire island.
