Hvar Island
A tiny hamlet with a sheltered bay on Hvar's south coast — crystal-clear water and great food at Gostionica Mala Milna right on the beach.

Mala Milna (meaning 'Little Milna') is a tiny coastal hamlet on Hvar's south shore, east of the more well-known Milna beach. It's the kind of place where time slows down — a handful of stone houses, a small dock, crystal-clear water, and not much else.
The bay is well-protected and the water is stunning — shallow, warm, and perfect for swimming. A small konoba (traditional tavern) serves fresh fish and local dishes right by the water, making it a wonderful lunch stop on a boat trip.
Mala Milna is only accessible by boat or a long walk, so it never gets crowded. It's a favourite stop for our skippers on the south coast tours — authentic, peaceful, and beautifully untouched.
